1. Basic
Directive: Council Directive 70/220/EEC, of March 20th, 1970.
on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to
measures to be taken against air pollution by gases from positive-ignition
engines of motor vehicles.
2. EURO
I : Council Directive 91/441/EEC, of June 26th, 1991, by which
Directive 70/200/EEC , on the approximation of the laws of the Member
States relating to measures to be taken against air pollution by
gases from positive-ignition engines of motor vehicles,
is amended.
3. Council
Directive 93/59/CEE of June 28th on the approximation of the
laws of the Member States relating to measures to be taken against
air pollution by gases from positive-ignition engines of motor vehicles
,
is amended.
4. Euro
II : Directive 94/12/EC of the European
Parliament and Council, of March 23rd, 1994, relating to measures
to be taken against air pollution by gases from positive-ignition
engines of motor vehicles and by which Directive 70/220/EEC is modified.
5. Commission
Directive 96/44/CE of July 1st, 1996 on the approximation of
the laws of the Member States relating to measures to be taken against
air pollution by gases from positive-ignition engines of motor vehicles
is adapted to progress.
6. Directive
96/69/EEC of the European Parliament and Council of October 8th,
1996 by which Directive 70/200/EEC, on the approximation of
the laws of the Member States relating to measures to be taken against
air pollution by gases from positive-ignition engines of motor vehicles
is amended.

8. Adhesion
to Regulation R-103: Adhesion to
Regulation R-103: Council Decision 97/836/EC of November 27th, 1997,
relating to the adhesion of the European Community to the Agreement
of the United Nations Economic European Commission on the adoption
of uniform technical prescriptions applicable to road vehicles and
the fittings and parts that can be assembled on to them or used
in them and on conditions of reciprocal recognition of the approvals
granted in compliance with the said prescriptions.
9. Approval
of replacement catalytic converters (PDF): Commission Directive
98/77/EC, of October 1998, by which Council Directive 70/200/EEC,
on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to
measures to be taken against air pollution by gases from positive-ignition
engines of motor vehicles is adapted to progress.
10. EURO
III and EURO IV (PDF): Commission Directive 98/69/EC of the
European Parliament and Council , of October 13th , 1998 , relating
to the measures to be taken against the atmospheric pollution caused
by exhaust gases from motor vehicles and by which Council Directive
70/200/EEC is modified.
11. Commission
Directive 1999/102/EC, of December 15th, 1999 (PDF), by which
Council Directive 70/200/EEC, relating to the measures to be taken
against the atmospheric pollution caused by exhaust gases from motor
vehicles is adapted to technical progress.
12. Directive
2001/1/EC of the European Parliament and Council, of January 22nd,
2001 (PDF), by which Council Directive 70/200/EEC, relating
to the measures to be taken against the atmospheric pollution caused
by exhaust gases from motor vehicles is modified.
13. Directive
2001/100/EC of the European Parliament and Council, of December
7th,
2001 (PDF), amending Council Directive 70/220/EEC on the approximation
of the laws of the Member States on measures to be taken against
air pollution by emissions from motor vehicles.
After the R-103 regulation from the ONU and the 98/77/CE Directive that are valid for the homologation of catalyst converters for the replacement in vehicles homologated without DAB (on board diagnostic system) and in framework within of the EURO I and EURO II, the European Parliament and the Council approved a new Directive for the homologation of catalyst converters for the replacement in vehicles homologated with the said system (enclosed in a frame of the EURO III and EURO IV).

2002/80/EC of the European Parliament and Council, of October
3rd,
2002 (PDF), adapting to technical progress Council Directive
70/220/EEC relating to measures to be taken against air pollution
by emissions from motor vehicles.
Furthermore, the ONU has just published a new supplement for the R-103 Regulation for the homologation of catalyst converters for the replacement in vehicles with OBD.
15. 2nd Supplement based on the ONU R-103 Regulation, dated on the 7th of June of 2005 (PDF). With this supplement, the R-103 Regulation is valid for homologating catalyst converters of replacement with/out DAB.
16. Consolidation of the Regulation R-103 of the United Nations of the 19 June 2007 (PDF). It includes the amendment 1 and 2 previously mentioned on paragraphs 7 and 15 of our historic homologation.
17. EURO V y EURO VI, (PDF). REGULATION (EC) No 715/2007 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 20 June 2007 on type approval of motor vehicles with respect to emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles (Euro 5 and Euro 6) and on access to vehicle repair and maintenance information.
18. DIRECTIVE 2007/46/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 5 September 2007 (PDF). It establishes a framework for the approval of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
